On October 22, 2024, Toshina posted the following update to the campaign, Help Seraj, Farah and their family get treatment abroad:
Salam
There seems to be some unfounded accusations circling around Seraj and his campaign. Seraj and his family are in Gaza, check through his instagram stories or watch one of his live streams. I have known Seraj and his family for over 5 years now and speak to them daily. I send them the money monthly from the GoFundMe account in order for them to survive this genocide. A portion of the money is set aside for when the borders open, however a large portion goes to help keep them alive through this genocide. As you know everything in Gaza is scarce and astronomically expensive. In addition Farah and Seraj suffer from medical conditions that require care and medication. Thank you for all of your support and generosity in these very difficult times. Your support and generosity is a beacon of hope and helps keep this family alive. Attached you will find the most recent Western Union transfer from myself, Toshina to Seraj. All of our personal information has been marked out in order to protect ourselves.
Kind Regards,
Toshina
