Officially Out of Food
Dear beautiful team,
Food is severely scarce now I’m Gaza.This is my most recent communication with Muhammad:
I’m almost losing my mind from thinking so much. There was no food all day. We ate only tomatoes and cucumbers. But what drives me crazy is that the guys and I can handle not having food, but how will the kids resist it? They’re still young.
أكاد أفقد عقلي من كثرة التفكير
طول اليوم لا يوجد طعام أكلانا بعض البندورة والخيار فقط
لكن الذي يجنني هو من الممكن أنا والشباب تحمل عدوم وجود طعام لكن الأطفال كيف سيقاومون ذالك أنهم صغارIt’s heartbreaking and still so unbelievable that this horrific situation is not resolved and the forced starvation remains without intervention.
Every day I write to as many world leaders and government agencies across the globe and still cling to hope that someone, somewhere will step up.
Please don’t give up your efforts.
Keep writing, keep speaking out, keep protesting.
We can’t stop trying.

My conversations with Muhammad grow more painful every day. Despite everything he always remains so hopeful.
Muhammad says they are now actively starving. And they won’t last long if humanitarian aid doesn’t get into Gaza soon.
He said he watched children burning like logs and there was nothing they could do.
This is the most viscous and inhumane genocide the world will ever witness.
My heart is literally broken. Broken for every child, every mother and father, every friend.
We all need to stay on top of posting and protesting. Keep calling, writing letters.
Put pressure on the French government as Macron claims he will bring aid if humanitarian groups are not allowed into Gaza in coming days.
Please send emails, make calls, keep posting.
It’s all we can do right now.
If you can get out to the streets, do it.
This is not the time to give up.
