Happy Friday friends. Not much has changed with Samira, Abdullah, and baby Mohammed’s situation. They are still struggling to find and afford formula, food and cooking gas. I wanted to check in with everyone anyways and thank you for your continued support – everything you contribute helps them survive. They make videos on instagram documenting their situation, so if you have a social media presence and want to help them share their stories (one of the main ways that they have of asking for help), you can follow them at @samira_family11

Hi friends, Samira and Abdullah need your continued support. They need money for food, and baby Mohammed is sick and even basic medicine like baby Tylenol is very expensive. If you can give again, if you can match your previous donation, if you can pledge to give monthly (GoFundMe has a monthly donation option), if you can even take some time to ask your network of friends to give, anything you can do is deeply appreciated. April 16, 2025:
Hello everyone, thank you so much for your recent help for Samira, Abdullah and Mohammed. They were able to replace their tent (attaching a video) and purchase a pack of diapers. We appreciate everyone’s care, attention, and support for this young family. Their next goal, if possible, is to buy some flour and cooking gas; and of course their ongoing needs for food and diapers. I know it’s exhausting that the needs seem never-ending, but if you are someone who has been contributing to them regularly, or even just once, just know that every dollar given has gone to the survival of this family and their young baby, and is so appreciated. We hope that one day soon, they will be able to have control over their lives again and be able to live with dignity and safety. With much love, -Maggie
