Fares Abulebda:
Amidst such an extreme sorrow and pain…
A little bit of light…more like a shy ray of light…
But I have to share it with you, my dear friends…
Slowly my fundraiser is rising. All thanks to you. To each and everyone of you. Thank you for donating, for sharing, for raising awareness.
Thank you for being with me. Thank you for not turning your heads away. Thank you for not leaving me. And thank you for supporting and loving me.
I surely feel it and am forever grateful for having you in my life.
My life is depending on you and your goodwill.
I love you my dear friends.
Your friend and brother,
Fares from Gaza
Marie B.:
Some brief thoughts tonight. We’ve hit 50% of our goal, and we are deeply moved by this beautiful global community. As Fares mentioned, amidst all the darkness and evil, there is a glimmer of light and hope for his family—thanks to every one of you.
Check out this beautiful art of Fares’ family by [email redacted]sie.
I also wanted to include some graphics by @palestineasdiqua, which transparently outline the true costs of navigating basics, evacuation and survival for a family of 13, the youngest children 1, 3, 4, 6 and 7.
We are halfway there and have another half to go! Let’s do this! Setting up a small recurring donation every week helps so much!
As of this post, this campaign is 51% towards its goal. So if you want to help Fares and his family, feel free to donate and/or share.
